Impact

Impact is not an extra.
It is where we start.

This page explains what social impact means to Belarbi Group — honestly, without overclaiming.

What this actually means for us.

A lot of agencies say they care about impact. It often means they have a case study about a charity project they did between commercial briefs.

We think differently. Social impact is not a separate category of work — it is the standard we try to hold all our work to. Every project we take on, commercial or otherwise, should benefit the people it is built for.

That does not mean every project is non-profit. Commercial work funds the capacity to take on more projects that benefit communities directly. But the commercial work has to meet the same basic test: is it actually useful? Does it respect people?

We are a young company. We do not have a long track record of impact to point at. What we can show is the projects we have chosen to build and the reasons why.

How we decide which
projects to take on.

Does it solve a real problem?

Not a problem that sounds good in a brief. A specific, genuine difficulty that real people have — that they would be better off without.

Does it respect the people it is built for?

We pay attention to privacy, accessibility and tone. If the product does not treat users with respect, it does not meet our standard — regardless of how polished it looks.

Is the problem actually ours to solve?

Sometimes the best thing we can do is point someone toward a better solution. We are honest when the answer is not a new app or a new campaign.

Could this be sustained?

Impact that disappears after the budget runs out is not really impact. We think about long-term sustainability from the first conversation.

Commercial work and
meaningful work.

We do not only take on non-profit projects. Commercial work — apps, websites and campaigns for businesses — funds the capacity to take on community projects, reduce costs for charities and invest time in initiatives like VeiligWijdemeren.

The two things support each other. The commercial clients get better work because the team cares about the craft for its own sake. The community projects get proper attention because the business is sustainable.

Are you a charity, foundation or community project?

If you are working on something with a clear social purpose and limited resources,we would like to hear from you. We don't promise reduced rates to everyone — but wedo give every genuine social-impact project serious consideration.
